Every year a new set of graduates are coming into the job market in Nigeria. This makes it pretty much tougher to secure a very high lucrative job in the country.

This is the reason why most of the companies are taking advantage of graduates. They underpaid the graduate because it is cheaper to get replacement.

As a result of this, most graduates are now thinking of establishing their own business. In fact I have seen some people who are making a living without making use of their certificates.

Well if you are thinking of establishing a business in Nigeria, and you don't have any idea, well this post is for you and I will advise you to read to the end.

These are some of the businesses you can establish with little capital and make a lot of profit at the end of the day.

3 Home Delivery
As more people are going into personal products these days, people are looking for delivery business that will help them to dispatch their product all over the place.

4 Fumigating Business
Fumigating business is another emerging business and it is less competitive as I am writing this content. we can establish this business with less than 40,000 naira.

5 Laundry Business
People are too busy these days to do laundry on their own. They will be more than willing to pay you if you can render quality service. You need only washing machine and iron to get started with this business.

In Africa to be precise Nigeria they have been increased establishment of small-scale business . Literally there is no street that you could enter in Nigeria that you won't see a small or medium scale business owned and controlled by a sole trader . They are literally everywhere some of this small-scale business include selling provision goods and necessitates , POS business , Hawking business , laundry business and so on and so forth .
Well the main gist here is not just opening a small scale business but the real thing is to open a lucrative and less expensive one .

Personally the small-scale business I admire the most is opening a barbing saloon , although they are rampant in Nigeria , owning a barbing salon is profitable but solely depends on the location in which it is sited . One mistakes owners of barbing salon commit is running a VIP barber salon in an area where they are poor population habitants , that is why it is advisable for the barbing salon owner to first of all surveyed the area to know what kind of people lives there and also study the cost of living of the people before knowing weather to site his or her barbing salon there or not .

These days even starting a small-small scale business in Nigeria demands capital and this is because of the incessant increase on the prices of goods and services as well. Prior to this time, one can start a small-scale business with a capital of $100 but presently such capital will be so demeaning and almost unrealistic in setting up a small scale business. However, there are small scale businesses that could be set up and could also be improvised to fit with the budget. The first step in setting up a business would be to have the business idea and to determine what scale to run on and location should also be of priority concern to maximize sales and enhance customer retention. Albeit, there are small scale businesses that can be operated in Nigeria such as; operating a POS outlet, where customers come to withdraw their money rather than waiting on a long queue for ATM withdrawals. Also, running a thrift store would be less capital intensive, selling of phone accessories like; pouch, screen, ear pods and earpiece. Selling of food at the road side, starting a janitorial services business, where you partner with one or two persons to grow the business gradually are all feasible to start on a small scale.
