We have a friend whose husband is a commercial pilot. We got to know them when the husband was still in training. The per hour fee of the use of the plane is very expensive that the wife was sometimes borrowing money. But after a year the guy had achieved the required flying time and started to earn as a co-pilot for domestic flights.

The couple said that their finances has gotten much better. The husband agreed and added that they can travel for free because a pilot has the privilege of a free plane ticket not only for himself but also for his wife.
