You can promote your affiliate products through your blog or website or through your social pages. Both of these methods are good, however, which one is better?

There are many affiliate programs that do not require you to have a website, you can use social media. However, is this to say that you can make money from affiliate marketing without having a website to promote affiliate products?

Just because you share your affiliate links on your facebook page or twitter account does not mean you will generate a lot of sales. Before you can generate sales, you need a huge following. Your followers should also be genuinely interested in your niche.

As far as affiliate marketing through a website is considered, your website needs a lot of traffic from search engines, social media promotion, or email marketing. SEO is necessary for search traffic and you need a lot of followers on social media to drive sales.

If you want to become successful in affiliate marketing promoting your affiliate products through your blog is the best thing to do because it is your website and you do not need to spend any money to promote the product.

This is if you are getting a lot of traffic to your website every single month. If you are using social media platforms there will be a lot of restrictions because you still need a landing page in order not to be banned on social media platforms.

A platform like Facebook will not allow you to paste your affiliate marketing link on their platform because it will be deleted immediately. I have tried it in the past and it was not allowed.

So this is the major reason why it is important for you to have your own website and even if you want to do some promotion on social media you will use the link of your website to post.
