Advertising and marketing is all about promoting your product to the right kind of people. This is why when it comes to the field of advertising and marketing, many people often promote the concept of "Target Audience" to the people. The concept of "Target Audience" is pretty clear. You promote your services or products to people for whom you created those products. For example, men's clothing is specifically for men. They cannot be promoted to the female audience. This is why many manufacturers and retailers would promote such products to male audience.

However, there are certain products that are made for all the people around the world, no matter the age, gender, race, etc. For example, you could promote fast food products to people to all the people irrespective of who they are. This is because almost all the people eat fast food in the world. Do you think that audience-oriented products are harder to promote because you need to promote those products to specific group of people only? Products that are for all the people have a much higher chances of being sold off in the market because they target a huge audience. What do you think about it?

With the digital marketing the issue of audience target oriented products is not really an issue at all. For example you can post in social media the promotion for a maintenance medication for blood pressure. That product is mostly for the seniors but posting it in the internet can reach all kinds of people. Now if a young person would see the ad and would be interested because his parents are seniors then that ad is successful in reaching someone who is not inside the bracket of the target audience. That is the beauty of digital marketing because you can reach all kinds of people and there is the probability that your promotion will have an effect on the reader.
