When you promote an individual in your company, it is beneficial to not just your company but to your employees as well.

A job promotion is almost always awarded to an employee who has displayed a high level of competence, initiative and loyalty in the role he currently has. Employers give employees promotions because they want to reward top-level performance while at the same time retaining employees who might otherwise leave for better opportunities elsewhere.

Promoting your employees sends a strong message to other employees. It shows that your company values their achievements and is willing to invest in them as people, which fosters a sense of loyalty within the entire team. Promoted employees are also more likely to be proactive about finding ways to improve employee satisfaction.

There are various reasons why employees , workers , as staff need to be promoted. Promoting your employees and workers gives or send the message that you appreciate their effort energy and time they put in accomplishing various organisational goals and objective throughout the years. It also send the message two other workers and staffs to increase the effort of productivity if they want to enjoy the privilege of being promoted.

Promoting staffs and workers also serves as a good reputation builder to what the manager or the management of the business or company, it also shows that commendation and motivation are important and part of your place of work. But while promoting staff and workers and all employees there are some things that you need to seek before they can attend the prestige or the privilege of being promoted.

A staff waiting to be promoted must be productive and well recognised by his or her employees has been to the productive promotion should not come as a result of bias , discrimination , all because you are familiar with a particular employee or worker more than the rest of your workers , but rather promotion should be something that is earned as a result of good work and time put to accomplish task send to an employee who keep to time and many other features well considered.
 
When an employee is promoted he or she always feel motivated about such promotion and improved rewards, it shows how hard working the employee is. And in turn, it strengthens the employee to work more hard for the company, because the company is the kind of type that appreciates more of hardwork than discouraging it. It will also improve the company's input and output to become more successful in the future, due to how hard working the employees seems to be, pushing the company to greatness.
 
For me, the concept and importance of promotion in the job is the need for a worker to fill up the vacant position. One example is the operations manager who resigned so the position is vacant. There are duties that the operations manager is needed to do like approving of the projects or the output aside from the management of the staff. The assistant manager can be promoted to that vacant position so there will be no vacuum. However, in some instances the assistant manager is assigned as a temporary manager (he is presumably to be on a training period). When the employee is promoted the company benefits because the important duties can be accomplished. On the part of the employee it is also to his own benefit because usually a promotion includes a pay raise and added benefits.
 
Employee promotions is very necessary and important for any business that really wants to succeed on the long run. When you promote your employees it is an indication that you value their effort and therefore, they will put all their best in ensuring that your business succeed because when your business is succeeding, they also will succeed in their jobs. Every human being wants to grow and if they see an opportunity for them to climb the ladder and become great which is simply shown when an employee is being promoted, then they will put a lot of work to make that come through.
A lot of businesses have not understood this strategy and that is the reason why they have not really gotten to the stage in which they are supposed to be assuming they are supporting and promoting their workers. Someone who is in a business that does not promote employees will definitely have the mindset that he or she has nothing to lose and therefore they will work anyhow the like and not put their best in ensuring that the business succeeds. This is somehow the mindset of an average employee and it is the reason many businesses do not succeed or get to certain level.
 
These are some of the roles the management team fail to acknowledge in discharging their duties, some management system doesn't carrying out their functions accordingly. Promotion of staff is one key role of the management team and this should be routinely. An effective management team take this as one of the major ways to motive their staffs to pit in their best at work. They take their time to observe the input of the employees and see how they are contributing to the advancement and growth of the organization. But some management team are so less concern with issues that has to do with motivating works as all they care about are issues that has to do with how the figures in the profit and loss account and balance sheet will continue to rise on the side of profit.

They feel workers can be replaced at anytime and for that reason they form deaf eyes and blind eyes to promoting staffs as at when due. This goes along way to kill the morals of staffs who themthemselves has their own personal aspiration and yearnings aswel to move up in life. And sometimes when they get really feed up they just decide to leave the organizations and look for something else to do.
