The prediction of Bitcoin crashing soon has been put forward by the Bank for international settlements. This statement was made as a comment on crypto and digital currencies at the Hoover institute. The president( Agustin Carstens) stated that cryptocurrencies in general are really risky assets and it might just collapse soon. He asserted that as btc approaches the maximum supply which is 21 million, the system on ground become more vulnerable to external attacks. So it is possible that the attacks can be bringing the coin to its crash.
