Many businesses are prone to or have the tendency of falling if they lack a proper record keeping, discipline and improvement. Self discipline is the ability to push yourself forward, stay motivated, and take action, regardless of how you're feeling, physically or emotionally, motivation and willpower contribute to it, also persistence, the ability to follow through on your intentions, and hard work. Businesses need hard work and doing the unusual, which means if the business owner wants to have a different result from his competitors, he or she must do things differently from things done by other business owners.

In business, one of it's strategy is control.
When you are fond of using your money without proper care of your capital, you're liable to loosing your business.

Neglecting to make business plan, inadequate financial preparation and resources, failing to monitor progress and adjust and when you dnt have a market strategy, buying asset with cash flow, and neglecting online marketing can cause it too

In my opinion, one of the common mistakes committed by a lot of business owners is not setting up a good team. Instead they try to do everything by themselves. You cannot be the best in every thing, right? You cannot become a good product developer, a good business operation manager, and a good marketer at the same time, right?

You are right . Any business that lack good planning for their business will surely fail at the end .
Some times when some one did not manage the business very well it will not progress and may even leads to falling.
For example; some business set- up do not usually plan on their inventory in order to know how the goods is coming in and going out which can really affect the business negatively .
Some business set - up is not concern about their time management which is also important to measure the business and also help to measure the performance of the efficiency of labour.

business planning is definitely one of the key things to succeeding, I mean seriously what doesn't need planning, you want to make it, you have to plan on how to make it, or you will fail, that's just it. In my industry which is digital marketing, putting out content on social media everyday is completely stressful, And no one except someone that doesn't live with a parent or a sibling or anyone can accomplish that, and that's why you have a content calendar, And a content planner, this is just a simple example of planning, with this content calendar and planner, you can plan a whole month of content and stay on top.

In my opinion, one of the major issues for business is not selling enough to generate income. They cannot even manage to earn enough to run the business let alone make profits. So, why don't they sell profits even to run the business? I think they are not marketing their businesses well. It is true that most of the businesses are already marketing, but yet not generating sales, why is that so? Well, in that case, they are not marketing through proper channels, they are not marketing to the right audience. You need to market your business to the right customer to remain successful.

The most common reasons small businesses fail include a lack of capital or funding, retaining an inadequate management team, a faulty infrastructure or business model, and unsuccessful marketing initiatives. Starting a business is not easy, and there are countless statistics out there about the survival rate of startup companies. Whether you’re a seasoned small business owner or an entrepreneur just starting out, it can be a little scary. What you probably don’t realize is the sample of small companies cited in these studies. Fit Small Business does an excellent job of debunking some of these numbers and defining the types of companies taken into consideration

To be sincerely, plan is very important and it is a imperative thing to be done before business can be establish or start. Because, plan is a foundation of a business and if you make the foundation of your business strong definitely it will last and stay longer in successfully. And then, capital is the most important thing to have, because there is no how business can be establish or start with no capital, there are many business idea that do not come to useful due to the lack of a capital. So, capital and strong plan are very important in terms of starting a business.

Business can fail for diverse reasons and there's nothing one canndo about it. if you don't plan well and early enough you might just be setting your business for failures. This is why one must be sure of the plans for the business before progressing. Planning for a business needs to include researching to be sure about what a business entails. You can progress on a thing that you don't have the full information on. So why you source for the adequate funds or capital to fund your business learn to plan so that you wouldn't let the money go down the drain. So I agree with you, the two outstanding factors should be planning and funding.

Another mistake most business owners tend to make is choosing of location. There are times where a business owner would want to chose a business location that has less competition, but in the end they would choose a location where it would be impossible to reach out to their target audience. When. It comes to an offline business, the location matters alot. The wrong location could end up bringing down the business completely.

There are plenty reasons that cause a business to fail and I do not think that it is very very easy for an individual to be able to run a business successfully if they do not take so much time to know what it is that has caused similar businesses to fail in the past .

Learning from the mistakes of other people is a very best way to learn, and it does not make sense for you to wait to have your own first-hand experience before he gets to learn, especially when they're already people who have had similar experience to you.

The major reason why lot of businesses fail is due to the fact that, the owners of such businesses did not bother about getting to meet somebody who would take time to mentor them and show them what is working in the business.

They tend to believe that it will be very very easy for them to go about it, simply because of some things they may have read or learnt and first start getting a mentor was not going to be necessary any more .

When you do not have a mentor in your business, or somebody who can counsel you, it will be very difficult for you to succeed.

Setting up a functional business is really not easy and this is the more reason entrepreneurs are often regarded as risk-takers. There is no business that is devoid of challenges even with adequate or proper funding but one thing that becloud the success of most businesses is effective planning. There is no business owner who has not faced one challenge or the other at a point in time. I think the major reason for business failure is ineffective planning. No doubt, there is no how an individual would set up a business without a level of planning for the funding and perhaps the location but there is a clear difference between planning and effective planning.

For instance, during the covid-19 pandemic, it was evident to decipher between the business owners who planned and those who planned effectively. Some business were left so stranded because they had not built or creates an online presence for their business and obviously they had not included it in their business plan not added it as a back up plan but those other business owners who had the online presence were able to adjust to the present effect of the pandemic by tilting their business through the readily available space.

Competition nowadays is among one of the things that really make a businesses to go down , A situation in which you have a lot of competition to face in your business organisation it will be quite difficult for you to generate profit especially as a new business if you are to compare it with business that is established already.

For most of these things to be avoided it is always better for people that are interested to start a business to locate it in suitable location as this will really help in the progress of a business.

Competition is very bad and should never be the attitude of any business owner who really has the attention of growing in business at all .

This causes business failure.

The fact is that , whenever you are trying to compete with other people, you get to Rob yourself of an opportunity to learn from them and to try as much as possible to understand what strategies they are using to succeed in their own business .

I would also like to admit that competition is what keeps the market moving, and just to make sure that everything is moving fine , but you should make sure that you are not trying to do it in a way that will pull you down .

This is a major mistake that a lot of people are doing in their businesses today , and it has led them to fall back to a level where it is almost impossible for them to rise again to the level they are really thinking of .

There are so many things we have to do to make sure that we are getting things right in business, and it is the responsibility of every business owner to find out what is working and to stick to it, so as to not be left behind.

It is absolutely true that no one establishes or start up a business just to fail at the end . Sometimes in most major cases , it is usually or normally as a result of a small ignored factor that may cause a business to fail . For example a business owner may notice that his customers , clients , and consumers are becoming unsatisfied or uncomfortable as a result of his or her business organisations poor customer service or as a result of the attitude his or her employees , staff , and workers shows towards the buyers , clients , and consumers .

Some employees and staffs are harsh and inconsiderate when dealing with customers , clients , and patronizers . Some of them show partiality in the course of carrying out business activities and dealings with a particular customer or client , in the sense that , they tend to give full attention to a customer or client that tend to be rich and wealthy thereby ignoring and neglecting the client or customer who is Poor or among the minimum income earning class . It is important that a business practices the system of " first come first serve " so as to assist the easy and free flowing of business dealings and doings .

With proper planning, good management skills, and record keeping, any business should thrive out of any challenging economy. Businesses should also do occasional surveys to see how the industry it is operating in is either growing, or depleting. Most entrepreneurs simply just ignore the basics and that is one of the many reasons why businesses fail.

For me, inability to budget: proper budgeting is an important part of any successful business. Not doing this will set you up for failure. Now tell me how can you succeed when you lack money management skills? You see it's not possible. You must learn it

Also do not fail to keep studying your industry. Learn new ways to improve. Do not dwell in the old ways of doing business. You must seek to advance the industry you're in and bring new ideas to serve your customers rightly.

Lastly motivate your staff and treat them well. Have a well packed program for them to improve their expertise. Your staffs are the bedrock of your business. If they fail in their jobs, your business fail as well. However if your staffs are well catered for, they will succeed by putting their hearts into their job to bring out a better outcome for the good of your organisation.

The business area is a very fragile one and I thought you have to be very careful whenever you are taking some kind of decisions. There are some of them that you think I'm not very impactful but they are going to sum up to create a lot of frustrations for you in business and that is what a lot of people do not understand .

There are some people that just jump into starting up a business because they have the right amount of money without having to do any prior research or doing a field setup to ensure that the idea is even something that is valid . The amount of money that you are injecting into a business is not enough provided that the business is not located where customers are.

One of the reasons in which people fail in business is the lack of customer retention . Whenever you start a business, you should do everything within your means to ensure that you are going to get the attention of customers by the right marketing and also ensure that they are going to continuously buy from you . This is ultimately going to give you the upper hand when it comes to business.

There are a lot of mistakes people who are intending to venture into businesses make that usually makes their businesses have to be successful.

If you want to run a successful business the first thing you should do before venturing into a business is to try as much as possible to gather much knowledge about that particular business.

If you do not have enough knowledge about the business there is a high possibility that you would probably not succeed in it. People make the mistake of rushing into a business and at the end of the day, they will not be able to make progress. That you see a person succeeding in business does not mean that you will succeed because every business has its secrets and strategies.

Another mistake a lot of business people make is not having the right location for their business. If your business is not in the right location, there is a tendency that it would probably not succeed.

Many people neglect the importance of having a very good location for their business and at the end of the day their businesses fail. you also need to make sure that you have enough capital if you really want to become successful in any business.
