There has also been a debate about this on social media. Some people are calling the warrant wrong. Some are also calling it fake news. But most people are demanding action against Do Kwon.

Do Kwon neither surrendered nor filed an affidavit in court against the warrant; he was just arguing on social media to no avail. After his passport was revoked by the South Korean government, Do Kwon became an illegal immigrant elsewhere.

Illegal migrants are deported to their country of origin according to international rules. The same would have happened to Du Kwon, but after his disappearance, the South Korean government urged Interpol on September 19 to issue a warrant against him. The request was accepted on September 26, and Interpol issued a worldwide warrant against Do Kwon.
