Do We Pay Tax On Online Money?

There is something I'm a little curious about earlier concerning making money online. In every business or organization, people pay tax.

But I don't know whether or not I pay tax on the money I make through the Internet. Can this be possible? Do we pay tax on the money we make on the internet without my notice and if this is so then to whom do we pay for it? I remember I sign up for a certain affiliate program and they asked for my TIN but I thought because I think I'm a citizen of the United States.

So do we pay tax on online money too?

Well it depends on where you are working online though, back then the school my sister was teaching, they usually remove 10% ( or 5% I can't really remember) from their salaries in the name of paying tax for them, which means the tax is being paid automatically. The same way there are some online platform that usually take out a percentage of your earnings when requesting for payment all in the name of transaction fee, some of them could be tax.
