Everyone in the world today aspire to be rich and wealthy someday, but what we see today is that majority of individuals who are rich and wealthy presently are found of comparing their wealth to others. We need to understand that not all fingers are equal and so the way we may yield in riches and wealth may totally be different from the way another person may hold in his or her own riches and wealth as well. Moreover it is very much interesting to understand that, comparing wealth can have a number of effects on society, both positive and negative. Here are a few:

POSITIVE EFFECTS:

1. Comparison can motivate people to work hard and strive for success. Seeing others who have achieved a high level of wealth can be inspiring and encourage people to set goals for themselves.

2. Comparison can also drive innovation and progress. Seeing what others have achieved can spark new ideas and encourage people to think creatively about how to achieve similar success.

NEGATIVE EFFECTS:

1. Comparison can lead to feelings of inadequacy or jealousy. Seeing others who have more wealth can make some people feel like they have fallen short or that they are not as successful as they would like to be.

2. Comparison can also lead to a focus on material possessions and external markers of success, rather than on personal fulfillment and internal satisfaction. This can create a culture that values consumerism and materialism over other important values.

3. Wealth comparison can also contribute to social and economic inequality, as those who are wealthier may have more opportunities and resources available to them. This can create a divide within society and lead to resentment or mistrust between different social groups.
