I received a notification from Paypal on my gmail account when someone else opened their Paypal account. I have never heard of the person and have not interacted with him. However, the email he used for his paypal account is very similar to my gmail account. I also do not use my gmail account for receiving paypal payment. Has anyone received notification when someone else opened a new Paypal account on their email address. If yes, what is reason why the email is sent ?
