I am just presenting five strange facts about the insects surrounding us in our day today life, which will surprise you!
1.The male mosquito never bites any animals. It is the female mosquito that bites animals and sucks their blood, this is done because the female mosquitoes require animal blood for the purpose of breeding and in the absence of blood they can’t breed! The male mosquitoes however live on fruit juices and other sources of plant origin and keeps themselves away from the blood!
2. Spiders though make beautiful Cob Webs to trap the insects, they never at the prey that gets trapped. The moment the prey is trapped in the spider winds up the strings around the prey and make it immobile to inject poison into the body which dissolve the internal organs and becomes liquid and this is the liquid that serves as food for them. Thus the spiders don’t eat their food but drink it!
3. Honeybee died after it strings any animals! In fact honey bee is having the string attached to the poisonous gland which comes out along with some internal organs when they string an animal and the bee die there only!
4. The ants can lift the weight which is 5000 times more than them. So long people used to believe that ants could lift the weight about 15 to 20 times its body weight!
5. Female Praying Mantissa Chops off the body of male one immediately after the Copulation, scientists believe that this is done to ensure the emptying of reproductive juices completely into female genitalia because of the pain and struggling to ensure sure fertility.
