Giving Priority to Items on Your Budget

Budgeting should be on everyone's financial plan for every source of income. When you are done with it, you can them look back and see what needs to be eliminated, reduced or even added to.

Some items on a budget will definitely have a greater priority than some. You will need to have a scale to measure which ones should be done first and the ones that can be put on hold.

I usually do this on a scale of 1 to 5. I learnt this online sometimes back and it works well. Things that absolutely cannot be delayed get a priority of 1 and those that are least pressing get a 5. Sometimes, it's hard to decide alone and I seek for advice from others on what they would do, like buying a new phone to help with my online job, or paying for a course on blogging. It doesn't have to be that, but with constant practice, you get a feel for how to best prioritize to suit your needs.
