Owning a school is a great business. It takes a cursory eye to be able to assess wholly the impact your staff, especially academic staff have made in your school to identify the redundant ones. It is a little bit tricky.
If you want to use students'/ pupils' performance to gauge the performance of your teachers, you might get an erroneous judgment. This is because there is how a teacher might be giving in his/ her best but the students are not making any effort that would enhance their performance in the examination. Hence, students' performance is a wrong parameter to measure a teacher's performance in your school.
I once taught a class English and at the end of the term, only very few students performed well. And the school blamed me for it. I knew I had done my best. In that case, I was wrongly made the scapegoat.
