You can go into International trade as it offers great opportunities for businesses, but you would need suppliers to always get your goods on time to sell. This is where it is risky as you might be faced with some scammers and fraudulent suppliers.

But you can use the below tips to avoid dealing with scam international suppliers

Take out time to research Potential suppliers or sellers avoid those with too good to be true deals

Request the potential supplier to furnish you with information on their references or previous clients Contact these references directly to inquire about their experiences.

Request to see some essential documentation which could be their business licenses, registration certificates etc

You have to be cautious of , unrealistic promises, or pressure to rush into a buying deal. Trust your instincts and maintain skepticism about some deals

Using a payment method that allows you to ask for refunds when the transaction goes wrong or when the customer tries to cheat on you is one of the best ways to avoid scams with international sellers and suppliers. I always use paypal to buy from foreign parties. Paypal allows you to file a dispute of something goes wrong, and you can easily get a refund if you are scammed. I also use escrow service. Escrow is a payment mediation company that secures funds for you
