A couple of years ago, I left my regular job to focus my career online. When I was still on job, I was already doing freelance work as a side hustle. Eventually, I had to choose between my job and freelancing. I picked freelancing because even though my job paid well, freelancing gave me more freedom and opportunities to earn money. Plus, it was easier to balance work and life. I could also save money and time travelling to work. I could work when I actually wanted and do not have to slouch on the desk due to boredom. However, I do not suggest anyone to switch immediately, it should be a gradual process.
