For example, if you're selling an ebook, it's unlikely that you'll be able to sell it at a very high price because ebooks have become so ubiquitous in recent years, but if you're selling a course on how to write ebooks then you'll probably be able to charge more because it's a niche product with less competition.
The platform is where you'll sell your product – whether that's through an ecommerce store like Shopify or Etsy; on social media platforms such as Facebook Ads or Instagram; or directly from your own website via email marketing campaigns (which I highly recommend). You should choose which platform suits best for what type of product you're selling and who will buy it.
