How to Create Viral Content for Social Media

Sometimes, all it takes for your business or blog to become well known is one piece of viral content. Viral content in whatever format, be it videos, songs, an article or blog post, a picture (infographic or memes), a puzzle etc, go wild and bring you the desired traffic to view what you offer.

Unfortunately, there's no known formula for creating viral content. Most things that do go viral were not created intentionally to be so. The only common ground for all viral content is that they evoke emotions; happiness, laughter, joy, sadness. The deeper your audience can resonate with that emotion, the more viral your content becomes.

The type of content that usually go viral fast include how-to videos and articles, puzzles, lists that contain tips and secrets, real life stories that are touching and infographics.

Lately, short videos on TikTok and Instagram seem to be the rage and you can get a lot of eyes on you if you get things right.

Creating viral content on social media is not as easy as we expect, however, there are some benchmarks for creating viral content, although there is no guarantee that it will go viral, but at least it doesn't fall far short of what we expect. as follows: look for trending topics, make sure your content is useful and adapts it to the social media you use. content can evoke emotions and thoughts, also content must be public attention, share content at the right time, for example on Sundays there are many visitors on social media.

There are formulas for creating viral content on social media, however, these formulas might not work a hundred percent as these are not mathematical formulas or science formulas. First of all, you need to start using social media analyzer tools so that you can check what content is going viral on which social media platform. These tools will tell you the number of times a certain content is shared, the engagements the content has received, etc. One such social media tool that I can recommend is called Buzz Symo. When you use the tools like Buzz Sumo, you can see which content has gone viral in the past 24 hours, in one week, in one month, etc. You can then analyze the viral content and try to find why this content is going viral. You can then try to create similar content, use similar hashtags, etc. By copying the tactics from the viral content you can become viral.

I believe that the most important aspect of making viral content is the first step: Knowing Your Audience.
What do they want to see? What do they like the most? Answer these questions first and then, you'll be able to grab their attention. This will lead to viral content, the type of content that your audience wants.
