Starting a business will only be worthwhile when a business starts attracting customers. The first customer will help kick start a business to it's success. So how can one get the first customer. You can do the following:

Start with producing or selling a quality product

You can reduce the price for the first customer to enable a buy. Remember if the product is good, this one customer can bring more customers afterwards

Approach your family members with your products, let them be your first customer to help spread the usefulness of your products.

I think the major ways of getting or attracting consumers to a new business is to do quality and big time advertising and marketing, because it is pretty much the only way to make the public aware of the goods you are selling or the services you want to be rendering in exchange for cash. You have to make use of both offline and online to advertise the goods you are selling or services you are rendering. Make use of television and radio broadcasts, billboards and other offline activities and advertise on social medias, websites and other online forums.

Yeah persuasive advertising and marketing can really help with a new business but I was specific about getting the very first customer without having to spend so much for a start. It is always good to do this without your immediate environment. Some people even give out the product free so that the beneficiaries can testify to others which might herald the very first buy. I think family members can be of help here since they know the seller personally. They can readily gives the seller the honest review he or she needs for the sale of the products

Getting first customer in business is not that easy but if you know how to do your advertisement very well you will get more customers. More Customers in a business brings more profit. Getting customers can be through individual advert to people in the business community. It is good for a business to be providing quality products to the people in the business community. A company must know how to have customers good relationship and when the customers good relationship exists the company growth and success will be fast. Advertisement matters a lot in order to get more customers in business.

I like that line which says to approach the members of your family and relatives. Include your close friends and other friends to give their support to your business. When you have saturated the people in your circle then that’s the time to start doing the prospecting chore. Make a list of people or companies that you think can be your customer. When the list has 50 names then evaluate which of them will be the first to be offered of your products or service. Call the prospects or send them a message but the best way to connect is to drop by their office to make your business spiel.

You are right, environment of a business should be very conducive for customers, it will help the customer feel relaxed and buying more things from the store will be very easy. I noticed that the rich love to buy from fancy stores and they even buy them even more costly from there than the store down the road or open market. This is simply because the fancy store environment is inviting, the ambience is really cool and the atmosphere is really cool for shopping too.

I like the idea of looking out to solving a societal problem with business. This will be a unique 5hing to do and this will enable one move his or her business away from a saturated market share. I think with this idea getting even a first customer will be very easy especially as you have stated one places the business where the targeted audiences abound. Business needs a bit of understanding the terrain, the more understanding, the more one gains both in profit and number of customers
