There are two things you need to consider before you can determine whether or not your product solves a problem:
* What are the needs of your customers?
* How do they currently solve this problem?
To understand your customer's needs, ask them directly. You could also look at their buying history and see what products they buy most often. These two tips will help you understand the problem that's causing them to reach out to you in the first place.
Next, you should find out how people currently solve this problem. Do they have any strategies that work for them? If so, what are they? This will give you an idea of what kind of solutions are out there and whether yours truly stands out from the rest. By answering these questions, you'll be able to determine if your product is solving a real problem or not.
