Would you like to know more about making money by buying or selling things? Explore this list of 11 ways in which you can use your resources in order to make that extra money you need!

1) Consignment: Sell items that are clean with tags still attached at a consignment shop. These stores will have a contract detailing what percentage they will pay out once the sale is complete. You can also consider the resale shop in your area.

Consignment shops are a great place to sell any items you no longer need. This is especially true if you have been using something for a while and eventually want to use it again. A good rule of thumb is that anything with a life span less than three months should be consigned!

2) Thrift stores: Bring items at these stores will usually pay out at 60-75% of the price they were originally sold for. You may be surprised in how much you actually get paid to bring unwanted items such as clothes and shoes here.

Thrift stores are a great place to find things that you have or have not used in a very long time. It needs to be in decent condition, of course. If you have a lot of things that you do not need anymore, thrift stores are a great place to get rid of them for some extra cash!

3) Garage sales: You can sell a wide variety of items at garage sales. However, if you want to make money off your items being sold, do not expect much more than 10% of the original price.

Garage sales are classic ways to make cash fast. After all, who doesn't love a good bargain? While there are probably many things you do not need anymore, they still may have some value. Consider selling old home movie DVDs or any other outdated electronics or books.
