People get carried away by their positions and begin to indulge in corrupt practices in the workplace. This is mostly done by those in place of authority and believe they can take advantage of your position to exploit others.

As a boss or employer you can prevent this from happening in your organisation or company to avoid denting your image through the following means

Make a rule in your company's policies.

You would need to include a rule of no corrupt practices in your company. So that it in everyone terms and conditions.

I think the CEO of an organization has to consciously take measures to stop corrupt practices in the organization. The first thing that should be done is that payment should not be in cash. All forms of payment should be made through the organization's bank account. This would go a long way in stopping corruption. Also, contractual negotiations should be allowed to take the proper route and path. There should be no lobbying as this would make it unattractive for staff to engage in corrupt practices.

I once worked in a school where the principal and the cashier were always embezzling funds. The owner never noticed because he did not understand the loops. It only got revealed when one person got cheated, and the others exploded. Corruption gets worse in a school setting. You can just put one levy and call it any name, the students would pay and you cash out.
