When you are starting out on a job, you are looking at being successful at it. No one ever go into a thing with the mind of failure. So if you want to succeed at your job then you must do things that will only bring success and not being counter productive. So what are the things to do to get self successful.

Practice punctuality
If you are really to succeed at your workplace then always arrive for work on time. Remember key positions don't go to late comers.

Network with others
You don't have to be a loner in the office . You need to network with others and yget to know your colleagues. This will help you get good mentorship if possible from others.

Work more
How else will you get noticed when you don't put in the work So put in the extra hours and do it to the best abilities.

Know the demands of your job
You need to get to know your boss demands and the job demands. if possible you can over deliver on your job . Then go ahead to Showcase the qualities your employer initially liked. You don't need to change on this. You are doing all these to succeed.
