A fresh employeeo or those that are just getting to work for their first time in their lives sometimes find it difficult to adapt to the changes of no longer being a student that is just learning but working now to get paid. The truth is that these are two different setting and as such would need a lot of adaptation and adjustment so that the person involved can do way better and stay in the employment for a long time.

So how can one start out a job as a first timer at work and work long term with ease

Work is tedious: You need to see a job from the perspective of it being a work that needs your efforts and energy. When once you come to this terms you wouldn't be complaining or be frustrated when you are confronted with energy sapping jobs.

Have a positive mindset: You need to always be positive that whatever jobs you are confronted with you can do it to the best of your abilities. When you develop this strong mindset then you would be able to think long term of a job especially if the pay Is right. You wouldn't always think of leaving but putting in more to stay longer as well.

Being a fresh employee is so hard for real. There is so much adaptation and adjustment to be done. This is because you are moving from financially depending on another person, maybe your parent or guardian, to working for your own money. You are also moving from this relaxed and comfortable zone where you sleep and wake up when you want to, watch movies or just take nature walks. To having to wake up early, work all day and have less free time to do your hobbies.

This adjustment requires so much mental strength because you will be going through drastic changes. The first step to making this easier is awareness and acceptance of this situation. Once you are fully aware and accept the changes you are going through, the process will get easier with time. Then be so patient with yourself because adaptation will not be as fast as you want it to be.

But it also helps that when going through this shift, you need to start from jobs that don't require too much of you. Otherwise, you may end up hating work life fully. When you start with not so demanding jobs, you will find yourself improving and becoming a better worker. Plus it is best to work on building a career rather than just jumping from one random job to another.

This is the fact and a lot of adjustment needs to be done since it is a big transition from a relaxed position to where you need to start working. You are right for some people that have been financially dependent on others almost throughout their lifetime starting to make money on their own will need need a good level of adaptation.

Yes getting the right mindset and mental strength is very important. it will help with transition as you have told yourself that you have entered a new phase of your life so you need to adopt the changes that comes with it. Work life comes with its own challenges and you can't escape them by just wishing them.Nothing ever worked with just trying to push them away, you need to face them squarely so that same style should be adopted here.

Your last paragraph to a large extent is true but if one can't get such jobs can still go ahead with the ones available. The most important thing is to work towards understanding what the jobs entails and how you can accommodate all that comes with the job. This way you would excel better even with a very demanding job.
