For this reason many people enjoy doing things they are passionate about after retirement, such volunteering, traveling, gardening, spending time with friends and family, reading, taking leisurely walks, painting or playing an instrument, or picking up new skills. Some retirees decide to take up new hobbies they didn't have time for previously, volunteer in the community, or mentor others. In the end, how you choose to spend your retirement years depends on your own interests, morals, and physical condition.
