IoT and Social Media

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a hot topic these days, with companies like Amazon and Google investing heavily in it. But it's not just about smart devices. It also includes social media, which is increasingly becoming the way we connect with each other and talk about our lives.

The financial services industry is well aware of this trend, and it's looking for ways to use social media to improve its products and services. In fact, banks are already doing some interesting things in this area. Here are five ways they're using social media to make banking more personal:

1) Social Media as an Alternative to Traditional Banking

The first thing that banks are doing is making their websites more user-friendly by incorporating social media into them. For example, Chase Bank has made its website easier for users to navigate by including a tab called "Chase On Tap" on its home page. This allows them to see all their bank accounts in one place so they can check balances and set up payments without having to go through a separate portal or application.

2) The 'Social Pay' App

Another way banks are using social media is by integrating payment methods directly into their sites or apps.
