In a business organization the formulation of policies is absolutely important so as to give the business organization is sense of direction and also to serve as a yardstick for measuring actual organizational performance towards targets. There are two type of business policies there are the ones that are strict and a must for all business members to adhere an observe and there are the ones that are Libral. Talking about strict workplace policies, I would say that it is very much important for a business manager to enact strict to workplace policies because it will help each personnels and employees in the business organization to remain professional in their duties and responsibilities.

For a policy to be a must in a business organization depends on how such policy impacts the organization. The policy concerning lateness and various disciplinary action towards lateness of employees to workplace should obviously remain strict.

Policy weather strict or liberal in a business organization is absolutely important and the reason is because the existence of policy makes a business organization to have a sense of direction and also to have a yacht stick used for measuring success with actual target which the business looks forward to achieve. Having a strict policy against some certain actions of customers and clients can be very much helpful especially in areas of lateness and customer services. Employees in all ramification should never come to the workplace very late because during so would not bring good judgments on the business welfare and growth.

It is sometimes important for an organization to have strict rules to ensure discipline. It is however to note that the rules and regulations that to be laid down in the workplace should not be too strict for the workers, this will ensure that people are not afraid to perform their duties rather they are convinient doing so.

However, it is always important to put in place these measures to ensure that people get themselves comport and make the work place organized in a way to ensure good ethics at work place. This will surely in turn promote efficiency.

I am always for balance when it comes to strictness and workplace policies in an organization. Being too strict would create an atmosphere of tension which would not allow the workers to carry out their jobs with confidence. And it would always create fake loyalty which does not augur well for the business and organisation.

On the other hand, being too liberal and relaxed without workplace policies can create a lackadaisical attitude among staff. The balance is that a company listens to the genuineness of the reasons why staff had to falter in keeping company rules and rationally decides if punishment is ethically appropriate.
