Trading is good and it is one of the most profitable skills out there. I have seen alot of traders cash out big time and some have even set up something for themselves from trading. The only issue with trading is that it is risky. If you go into trading without having the proper knowledge about it, you end up loosing all of the capital you have invested and gaining the knowledge does not completely eliminate losses, it only helps in reducing it, I guess this is why some might classify it as bad.

Free trade can be beneficial to a nation if they already have an established industry. However, it's not always the case that free trade helps developing countries with less well-established industries. When countries import more goods than they export, then this is called having a trade deficit.

your experience on trading is dependent on your knowledge. If you have proper knowledge and understanding of how it works then you will definitely make profit on the long run but if you don't don't really expect any kind of profit because you will definitely running two losses.
