When your feet and ankles are swollen, it's a sign that you're not getting enough circulation. But don't panic. There are several natural remedies for swollen feet and ankles that can help you get more blood flow to those parts of your body.

Step 1: Start by putting a cold compress on the injured region. The pack should be at least half an inch thick and made of cloth or cotton (padded cotton socks work better than regular socks). You should also wrap the pack in bandages to keep it in place while you sleep (or while you're sitting).

Step 2: Try administering heat to the afflicted region if using cold packs is ineffective. Heatpacks are available at almost any pharmacy or drugstore, or there are even heating pads designed specifically for this purpose. You can also use a warm bath instead. just make sure to avoid putting too much pressure on your ankle bone!

Step 3: Another option is to try taking magnesium supplements (it's best if you take them with meals), since magnesium helps relieve stress and anxiety, which can lead to more frequent pain from swelling in your feet and ankles.
