Comparing online and offline businesses can be very challenging because these businesses cater to diverse markets and operate in different ways. Well, establishing a physical shop in a business marketplace can help you attract a lot of customers but it cost a lot of money to start a shop. Launching an online store can be really easy but you need to do SEO and digital marketing to reach your customers and generate sales. Since online business needs less money to start and manage, there is also lesser risks compared to offline business. For offline business, securing prime location can often become very difficult and also very expensive.

I would say that an attempt to state that one between online and offline business is absolutely better than the other would be erroneous. One might work better for one person given some circumstances doesn't mean it would work same way for another person in his own peculiar circumstances. It is just a matter of studying the terrain very well in your business niche and choosing if online or offline model is best for you.

If you are selling general products, it is generally advised that you run your business online and offline as usual.
