Podcasting is a good marketing tool especially if you get invites from podcast in your own niche one of the most prominent figures that I've seen used podcast to market his product as David Goggins he used the different podcast Tim Ferris, Jocko Willinks and also Andy Friesella to market his book Can't Hurt Me which was ridiculously successful

Also another thing that will contribute to the success of your podcast marketing is if your target audience are podcasts listeners else you'll have to go meet them where they are and that's the whole point of marketing, to meet your buyers where they are.
