I like this discussion because I had experienced a company that was going bankrupt. It was fortunate that I had my connections. When the company closed shop I had moved to a new company after a month because I already had applied there. Besides, I have my savings which would last for 3 to 4 months of being jobless.

I was working in a company and once I heard from a colleague that the boss is not happy with me and he is considering to fire me. I was not sure about the news but still I began looking for another job. Based on my career performance, I was offered a position in another company. I resigned before the boss could fire me.
