When people hear about Print-On-Demand, they immediately rush to join a Print-On-Demand platform and create products and list for sale. However, in absence of proper selling strategy they cannot generate sales, thus they don’t make money.

Here is a strategy that actually works

Create a shop on the platform of your choice, it can be redbubble, amazon, teespring, etc. After that create a product and list for sale.

Now, order that product for yourself.

When the product arrives at your home, find someone to model for you, or you can even try yourself if you are comfortable. Shoot a video. You can create a lot of videos around the product, from unpacking the product to trying it yourself.

And then post the video to youtube shorts or tiktok with a link to your print on demand shop. In order to generate sales, you need to build audience on the platform where you are sharing your video.

This is a good strategy to sell not just print-on-demand products but also affiliate products, dropshipping products, or your own products. However, you will benefit through this method only when you already have a following on your social media. Let's say you have 10k followers on tiktok, when only 10 percent of your followers checked the link and 10 percent of those who checked the product bought the product, you will generate 100 sales, if your mark-up is $10 per product, you will be generating $1000 profit. However, what if you just have $1000 followers and 10 percent checked your product and no one bought the product, will you earn money? A better approach to generating sales is through video ads, you can create video ads and run your ads on social sites and generate sales. This costs money but if you even get 5 percent conversion, you will be already making a lot of profits.
