Workplace safety is a huge concern for employers and employees alike. According to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, there were 4,547 fatal work injuries in the United States in 2017. That’s an average of 12 deaths per day.

Employers have a responsibility to provide a safe working environment for their employees. This includes implementing safety policies and procedures, providing training, and ensuring that employees are properly equipped to do their jobs safely.

Employees also have a responsibility to stay safe on the job. They should always follow the safety policies and procedures put in place by their employer.

There are a variety of workplace hazards that can lead to injuries or fatalities. According to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), the leading causes of death in the workplace are:

-Motor vehicle accidents
-Falls
-Struck by object
-Caught in/between objects

The mentioned above are some of the most leading cause of deaths in the workplace.

When it comes to jobs it comes with it's own work hazards this is why one needs to first identify them as one resumes for a new job to be able to avoid them.
I know of a distant colleague that started an engineering job in a company that repairs and service generators in just few weeks of being at the job, his first 3 fingers got chopped by the fan of the generator
This was because he do isn't know that getting his fingers into such a place could spell doom for him. So he has to live the rest of his life with that.

So workplace safety is very important especially when it is high risk one needs to be extremely careful to avoid having a lifelong scar. The right material should always be used same with using a protective gear when necessary. But most importantly stay away from danger zones.

The problem of safety during work is high fee paid by employer to the state regarding insurance of workers especially if we are speaking about more than one thousand workers company so it occurs that there is corrupt of funds that prevents from paying insurance in time then worker will have to cover work risk at his own expenses sometimes.

The goal of any safety program is to minimize the risk factor involved in the operation of a business. Safety programs, such as those that require employees to wear protective equipment or those that require employees to work in certain areas or at certain times of the day, can be an important part of a company's overall productivity. For example, if employees are not allowed to work in dangerous environments and they are not required to wear any protective equipment, they may not be as productive as they could be. Additionally, if an employee is tasked with working around hazardous materials, he or she will likely have more difficulty keeping his or her focus on work at hand.

However, if a company has a safe working environment and encourages employees to wear protective equipment during their shifts, then it will be much easier for its employees to remain focused on their tasks and keep themselves safe during their shifts. The safety program is an important element of a company's overall management system. It provides an added degree of control over the quality of work that is being performed by the employees, and it provides them with a sense of job security too.
