Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a condition which affects humans of all ages, from toddlers, to children, teenagers and adults. It affects both males and females too.

In situations where people do not understand the condition, or have no knowledge about the signs to watch out for, such people become stigmatized and suffer abuse in a bid to make them 'normal'.

Some common signs of ADHD are inability to focus or prioritize, short attention span, restlessness, day dreaming, hyperactivity, impulsiveness, impatience, speaking out of turn, following rules and losing their belongings.
Children especially have a hard time learning in schools as they can't focus long enough to understand while adults can handle jobs.

Such people need medical therapy, which is usually made up of behavioral therapy and medications. It's also helpful if the people around them are oriented about their condition and how to handle them.
Physical and mental abuse can be disastrous to their life and should be avoided.
