The Internet is a great place to connect with friends, family and colleagues. It's also a great place to find out about new products and get your hands on freebies.

As the internet gets more and more advanced, the number of people who are online at any one time will increase exponentially. This means that people will be more likely to engage with their social media feeds more often than ever before.

But it's also important to remember that as people spend more time on their phones and tablets, they'll be less able to focus on their finances. This means that even though you might be spending less time working out or doing other tasks in your day-to-day life, it's still important to keep an eye on your finances so that you don't fall into debt or overspend on something unnecessary!

In fact, according to a survey by Bankrate com, nearly half of U.S. adults say their finances got worse in 2018 because they were distracted by too much technology at home (52%). And more than a quarter said they were distracted by technology at work (27%).

The good news is that there are ways you can cut down on your distractions so that you can focus on taking control of your money! Here are a few ideas:

#1: Limit the amount of time you spend on social media each day.

#2: Turn off notifications so you don't get distracted when someone wants your attention.

#3: Set aside time each day where you're not allowed to check any screens.
