What are the benefits of remodeling a house or a apartment, Most at times the houses and the apartment we leave in become old in this case there is need for remodeling. To make your house look good you need to rebuild and remodel it to new way. And also our house are expected to be repainted after every 5 years or even three this makes the house looks good and nice, if are into a real estate business you will understand what I meant, i believe we all know that a well painted house is very attractive and scillinating, If you are into real estate business there's a time were you will buy a old house or apartment in this case you need to remodel it and make it look attractive to your buyers. I'm not into real estate business but I believe this what's happening to almost all people that invest on real estate. If I'm opportuned to get enough money I will consider starting a real estate business in my nearest future but at this time I don't have enough to start the business. In your own personal opinion do you think remodeling a hot is important? If yes how is it important?

I know a young RE investor who first started off by flipping houses. He would buy what they call “fixer uppers” at a really low price, and iinvest money to fix up the property. Then flip it! Or sell it at the market price. When he subtracted the amount he invested to make repairs, etc. from the sales price, he earned a pretty penny.

But even though that activity was profitable, after a while, he realized that in our current housing market, rather than buy a home, more people just wanted to stay in their own home and just fix it up! So now he does remodeling and he still makes a pretty penny!

Exactly, from time to time new designs for building houses comes up and even modern materials used in building these houses. The only way to keep up would be by remodeling, breaking and building might be to costly for the house owner.

Remodeling a house for a business means you want to increase the rent or the selling price whichever the case may be. But for your own home, remodeling means you want to be satisfied with the structure and aesthetic appearance. Our neighbor is one home owner who has money and has the penchant of repairing their home. They change the roof every 3 years (not just repair or repainting). The kitchen was enlarged and after some years a small terrace was added in the backyard. I envy the guy because he has the money although I think his remodeling is just a waste of money. His house looks perfect to me but he seemed to be not contented.
