The immune system is a collection of white blood cells that fight infections. It has the capacity to recognize and destroy microbes and viruses that are harmful to the body. The immune system is designed to recognize and attack foreign substances and defend the body. It needs a variety of nutrients to function properly. The design of the immune system is complex and depends on many factors, including the balance of many different micronutrients. Macrophages, on the other hand, are big eaters. These cells collect debris in the body, including bacteria and damaged cells. They are responsible for helping the immune system to maintain a healthy balance.

When we are ill, we may need to take antibiotics or other medicines. The immune system also needs to be fed with the right foods. It needs a variety of vitamins and minerals, but it doesn't require drugs only. A balanced diet is essential for healthy immunity. A high-quality vitamin C supplement is a great way to boost the immune system. Aside from vitamin supplements, a proper diet is also the right type of protein.
