As you are saving money for your retirement. You need to know the things you would be expending your retirement funds on so that you know if you need to increase the percentage saving of your retirement funds.
So what are things you would need to expend your retirement funds on;
You would spend on Housing which includes rent, heating or a mortgage, , water and maintenance etc
Another expenses will be on Health-care costs. Medical expenses in retirement doesn't include long-term care.
There will be day-to-day living expenses like transportation, food and clothing,
You would spend money on Entertainment. You would need to entertain yourself . so money would go on movies, restaurants and even plays
