Generally speaking, there are two ways to do influencer marketing.

Influencers are the people who have a huge following on social sites. These people can be actors, celebrities, socialites, or content creators. If you hire influencers to market and promote your products, you can generate sales because your product can reach a lot of potential buyers.

If you are trying to work with an influencer to market and promote your products, make sure you do some research. For example, you need to check how many followers these influencers have, how many engagements their post gets, whether the followers and engagements are genuine or not, whether these influencers are in your niche or not.

Alternatively, you can also try to become an influencer and start influencer marketing. When you are an influencer, you can not only market and promote your products and services to generate sales but you can also market and promote for other individuals and businesses and make money from influencer marketing.

If you are trying to do influencer marketing yourself, the first requirement is to have a social presence on many social sites, secondly, build a large following on your social pages, update your social pages regularly, post useful and interesting content, engage with your audience.
 
I do infleuncer marketing through the second method. I started building followers on my social pages when I was still in high school. The early followers on my social pages were my friends and family, however, as I went on providing useful and interesting content, followers began to build. I also spend money to advertise my social pages and build followers.
