When it comes to affiliate marketing, a lot of people start by promoting affiliate links through social media sites. Some people go further by creating a blog and publishing affiliate links on the blog. I also started by doing these two things but sadly, none of these methods worked for me. Therefore, I used a different strategy. I started creating video content for the products I was trying to sell and shared my affiliate links in the video description and shared the videos on platforms like Tiktok, Youtube, Facebook and Instagram. Social media promotion can also work only when you have a substantial following. However, your followers rarely pay attention to links. Therefore, you need to diversify your strategies based on your strengths and audience reach.
