Many people realize that when a society forms, we all have the right to live and work. This is why the government makes a set of rules. Majority of the world governments often create a set of rules so that the society could live peacefully. Working is an important aspect of one's life. When you work, you tend to make a living for yourself or if you have a family, then you work for them as well. However, you must make sure that being an employee, your rights are not being violated. Unfortunately, the issue of employee rights violation is quite severe and it is continuously being overlooked in many places. There are many reasons why employee rights are being overlooked.

One of the biggest reasons is that many international organizations and human rights organization are simply not playing their role or either they are not allowed to interfere in the internal matters of any country. Secondly, certain countries are simply not able to form a good system or rules that would protect the rights of employees. I live in a country where there is no system of "minimum wage/salaries" which an employers is supposed to pay and this leads to worker's rights abuse. What are some reasons employee rights are not protected in some countries?

There are many reasons why workers' rights are not being protected. Here are some of them:
-Workers are not educated about what their rights are.
-When workers do know their rights, they don't have the means to enforce them against their employer.
-Politicians "bought" by employers make laws that favor employers and hurt workers.
-lack of efficient regulatory body to checkmate employers.

This things happens in my country and in fact, it has become a norms, employers generally trample on the rights of their employees. One major reason why they do this without any fear is because they know the systems are very weak and no one will be able to press charges against them, worse still the system is very corrupt so even anyone should press charges against them they know nothing will happen as they can always bribe their way and no one will be able to question them on what ever wrongs they must have done. This things happened when I was in a particular company in an industrial estate, it is one of those companies owned by a foriegn and the workers were subjected to work in areas of high risk without any form of protection, and they were dealing with an hazardous substance and that was how one of the worker got severely burnt by the chemicals in the factory. Rather than take care of him. The organization ended up outing the blames in him. And that was how the staff lost his life and the company is still operating and nothing whatsoever was done to sanction the company as they got enough money to settle everything.
