It's well known that having a career in healthcare means you can get a really good pay, well above the median income for any country. It's not surprising because well, healthcare is one of the core needs of life, and it is also has high risk so the pay is high too.
Generally, physicians are the highest paid class in healthcare, and others like pharmacists, dentists, and laboratory scientists are well paid.
It depends on the country too and the career opportunities that are allowed there, as some pharmacists in my country can make more than doctors if they own their own pharmacies.
It shouldn't be all about the money though. While it can be lucrative, healthcare can be stressful and exhausting. It demands your absolute best at all times, especially towards the people who are relying on you.
You should consider how it will affect you physically and mentally, how it will affect your life and schedule too.
