I have a friend that recently get an offer of job into mining company and his willingness to know the part of mining engineering do people find most challenging because Mining engineering is a complex field that requires knowledge of many different disciplines.

One area I find particularly challenging is rock mechanics, which involves the study of how rocks behave under various conditions and stresses. Rock mechanics can be used to predict the stability of underground excavations, as well as to assess potential risks associated with mining operations. It also plays an important role in determining where and how ore deposits should be mined for maximum efficiency and safety.

Other areas like geotechnical engineering, mineral processing, ventilation systems design, environmental management are all equally demanding but have their own unique challenges that must be addressed when designing successful mining projects or what is your opinion
