Causes of cholesterol
1. Poor diet
Eating foods that are high in calories or eating too much of trans fat and saturated fat can increase the risk of having high cholesterol. Saturated fat like meat or diary product and trans fat like snacks or junk foods
2. Being overweight or obese
Have a greater risk of having high cholesterol
3. Not engaging in exercise causes high cholesterol because exercise helps to burn calories in the the body
4. Smoking and drinking of alcohol increases the rate of cholesterol level in the body
5. Age can also determine as well though children can also have high cholesterol but is mostly common in adult because as you grow older that is how the liver will be less active to remove cholesterol
