Although the words boss and leader we often hear, but the term boss is often used in everyday life and colloquial, the term boss is also often applied to both organizations or associations, either negative or positive, the term boss is also often used or gives nicknames to people who have a lot of money, while the term leader is only used for the company's organizational environment. In terms of style and mentality, a boss commands more while the leader will provide more training before giving orders. In your opinion, what are the differences between a boss and a leader

The name says it all, a boss is someone who orders people around without a single care about how they are coping, all they are about is the results, they do not carry their workers along, in most cases, a boss is not sensitive to the feelings of the staff. A leader on the other hand, are usually more sensitive to the feelings of does around them, they try their very best not just to give out instructions but to also carry each and everyone along. They know the weakness of each staff and they know how to make use of it to achieve better results.

Well in my humble opinion I see boss as a person laden with the tasks of running the affairs of an organization or firm and he at the course of doing that may use coercion or authority. But a leader is someone that heads a group of people and his job is to coordinate them and make sure things are going right and as the word lead comes in, he or she also has a task of showing the people under him or her the path without the use of force. A leader is flexible while a boss may be rigid. A leader adapts and understands the people under him relative to the circumstances surrounding them but a boss will always demand what he or she wants without giving consideration to any of the circumstances surrounding his workers
The point here is a boss is usually a tag for an impolite leader.

There is a clear difference between a boss and a leader. A boss is one who believes everyone of his workers is under him and works for him, therefore whatever he says is the final. He does not really take into consideration other's opinions. A boss demands respect from others rather than earn it.
A leader can be referred to as the opposite of a boss. Even though he is leading over them he values others and their opinions. Naturally, many people respect him.
Surely the best one to be out if the two is a leader, not a boss.

In my opinion, the difference between a boss and a leader is that a boss is one that just employs and pay the salary of employees. Although, a leader might also employ and pay the employees, a leader is one that guides and directs the workers or employees. A leader always have the workers at mind. He or she makes sure that things are in order in the workplace.

Boss and leader are truly words that are used to mean one or the other. But the biggest difference between them is that a boss is mostly the employer or the manager. While a leader can be anyone within the company. For example, those companies that have supervisors and other micromanagement positions will have leaders in each department.

But you will also find that those working under a leader in their department will refer to their leader as their boss. So really, this is a word that most people just throw around to mean someone that is above them in terms of authority.

All in all, you can be called a boss but don't have leadership qualities. Like you cannot guide those under you properly such that they disrespect you or they feel threatened of you rather than guided. While on the other hand, someone who does not have any position my have great leadership skills such as managing people and problem solving.
