In the previous year, 2020, SEC, Securities and Exchange Commission's filed a case against Ripple (Xrp) stating that the company violated federal securities laws by selling the digital asset (Xrp) without registering it as a security. The lawsuit was as a resultof the sales of Xrp without registering it. Chairman Chris Larsen and CEO Brad Garlinghouse was reported to have sold over $1 billion in XRP, promoted the token and paid third parties (exchange wallet) to support the cryptocurrency.
At first, the token lost it audience and the price dropped drastically. But of recent, there has been a huge difference in the price of the token even as the case has not been decided.
What do you think will be the outcome of the lawsuit and will ripple hit $5 before December 2021 If the court ruled in their favor?
