75% of government activities should be channel toward the welfare of existing businesses in the economy and of course the government of the day has a lot of role and responsibilities to play when it comes to establishing business and making sure that it is maintained. First and foremost in order to establish a business successfully the government of the country must first of all put in place various factors that helps business growth and development for example availability of raw materials, availability of fund sources that is financial institutions, availability of good transport system for the transportation of raw materials and finish goods to places of transformation and to place of sale, availability of electricity and lastly the availability of security.
Most countries in West Africa do not have majority of these factors and that is why businesses over here are dying.
