As a forex trader, there is a common app used by brokers to trade. It is the MetaTrader. The meta trader is of two types; Metatrader four and meta trader five. I have been using both as not all of the brokers are using both meta traders. Still, I prefer using one of the meta traders for trading. Meta trader 5 is very good for me to analyze market trends.
Although both of them show the same market trend, the colored aspect of meta trader five makes it easier for me to place trades well. I know some people will say that it is a lazy excuse because both of them have the same indicators.
I think the best is to practice with one of the meta traders and use that same app type for real accounts. My broker does not use metatrader 5 and I practiced with meta trader 5 for months before I finally got a real account. Now it is taking a serious fall on me as I have lost some money.
