Who does the NDIS hold information about?

When 'you' is mentioned, it typically refers toa participant, including those applying to be a participant. It also refers to anyone who we have information about. For instance, information may be held about individuals who:
  • a family member, carer, nominee or child representative of a participant or applicant to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
  • a service provider
  • a person who works for the NDIS
When they use 'us,' 'we,' or 'our staff,' they are referring to:
National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) staff
  • National Contact Centre staff
  • NDIA Board members
  • NDIA contractors and organisations that do work for them
  • local area coordinators
  • early childhood partners
